With 2 seasons of non-stop thrills, nail biting moments and a glorious range of firm originality, people started to fear Prison Break would come to an end as they've already accomplished the seasons objective: Breaking out.
The first season see Michael Scofield break out his beloved brother Lincoln Burrows out of Fox River State Penitentiary, then flee across the country to panama to try and bring down the people involved with the framing of Lincoln, that happens in the second season.
By this time, viewers had thought, 'what else could they possibly bring to this, as they've done everything!'. Season 3 proved them wrong.
As the show, brings Michael and friends into another prison, seen at the end of season 2, the writers had brought the show back to its original format, season 3 does this well, as it brings back memories of the first time we saw Michael break out. But things have changed, the unbelievable advantage to keep such a well lit show in the air for so long is a mystery.
The show adds more characters, that fit the scene, being in a Panamanian prison known as SONA which Michael Scofield finds himself in, but the lovable characters from the first two seasons return again to keep the show alive, and they do it well.
The writers' strike made this show hard to make, with only 11 episodes, they had to squeeze out what they could and leave the rest for a largely anticipated, 25 episoded 4th season...
SEASON 1 AND 2 WERE GREAT THIS IS DA BOMB

I thought season 1 was amazing and too get each season better and better i thought the makers of prision break have done an excellent job. Season 3 is set again in a prision called Sona where no one comes out alive or do they. If you enjoyed season 1 and 2 get this because it will blow your head off
GREAT*****

Ok, the previous seasons of prison break were absolutely fantastic, exciting intelligent plots, characters that you have warmed to and really come to care about etc. For me at least, season 3 didn't feel like this.
First off, those great characters? Most of them are gone by season three. This makes a huge difference. One character in particular who added to the story so much and was one of the main reasons I enjoyed prison break is gone and their death gave absolutely no justice whatsoever to the amazing part they played. I realize this was out of Fox's control but it basically ruined the whole show for me. So gone are the great characters (even the great one's that are still in don't play much of a part) and instead new characters arrive on the scene. I don't know about you but I just can't warm to new characters, two seasons of getting to know characters and really starting to care about them and then your presented with uninteresting "replacements"
The story line for me was definitely not as interesting as the previous ones and it feels like the writers are just dragging on the story. Watching Michael get sent back to prison and trying to break out AGAIN is the most boring plot I could have thought of. OK the show is called prison break but I feel sorta 'cheated' by this plot, like we watched the characters come so far through series one and two and now were right back at the beginning, really annoying. I wouldn't have carried on watching after the death of my fave character if it wasn't the show I had dedicated so much time into watching and enjoying.
What would have been great? If they'd ended the whole story with a happy ever after ending, riding off into the sunset on that boat but it feels like the writers just wanted to drag the story on and so quality is lacking because of this.
Don't get me wrong, still a great show and definitely worth watching if your a huge prison break fan like me but let's hope that season 4 returns to the prison break we have come to know and love.
Great, but...

Prison Break is a superb series, but £28 for half a season is a rip off. Yes there was the writer strike, so they shelved the 2nd half of the season, but episode 13 is an episode ending not a season ending and it feels that way.
Look at season 2, part 1 £17 and part 2 £17, therefore, season 3 part 1 should be around that price. I'm not buying season 3 as it stands, we get ripped off enough as it is by these film/tv studios!
Brilliant!

Well, what can i say, it's Prison Break, anything theyd o is going to be great and this seaosn was no exception, it was yet another seaosn that kept me onthe edge of my seat, biting my nails and screamin at the TV, it was a thrill and made me feel as though i was going through everything with the characters!
It is definately a MUST have DVD, even if it was only 13 episodes, but let me tell you, htey are worth watching, sure it may be a slow strat but once the seaosn picks up, you won't be able to tear yourself away!
Prison Break is great for the whole family, i bought it thinking i would watch it alone, but my entire family was hooked form the first episode, it makes a great evening addition to the household of any family! I definately ercommend buying this boxset, it is money well spent :D
It may be cut short but its still sweet

Ok picking up at the end of season 2 let me say Micheal is still well fit!!
With that out of the way, I know this was cut to a short 13 episodes but I still loved every minute and found the 2nd to last episode the most gripping. If your like me and don't have Sky 1 and I much prefered watching it all in one go with long adverts. The story the same as before but with added twists and turns and I cannot wait for season 4, bring on another whole weekend of Prison Break.
Gripping To The End!
