Season 4 proved to be the best season to date, the episode "the constant" is worth buying this series for alone. Just hope season 5 is as good :D
Dont get me wrong, this is an absolutely great part to the Lost series but I was disappointed with a few things! One being, that seasons 1-3 have all been 23+ episodes long and season 4 is only 17. It kind of finishes just as your getting into it. Now for all the people who have said that Lost is the hardest thing ever to follow, trust me, you havent seen anything until you watch season 4. It is most definately the hardest season to follow but you do get to understand it after a while. Other than those couple of criticisms season 4 is brilliant, but I just wish it had been longer. Bring on season 5 to see what happens!
Another amazing season of lost that completely changes the dynamic of the show, unfortunately we only get 14 episodes of TV's best mind blowing drama.
This was writers strike season, all shows had been affected, including lost and for that we got a short but amazing season. Gone now are the redundant flashbacks and now are the flash-forward's which are so much more interesting and suspenseful.
Funnily, near enough a third of the season if the season three part finale which is probably the best finale to date its full of explosions of action and emotion as the show completely changes with some shocking results.
True fans of the show will be happy with this season but disappointed by the briefness of it but it sure does develop the plot and head the show in a different direction, for the better.
I have always liked LOST, but I think it's past its prime. The seasons are getting shorter, the episodes are getting more farfetch'd, and the writers are getting sloppy. Seasons 1 & 2 were brilliant, 3 was good, and this one just seems OK.
Season 4 is the best season of Lost so far. Each episode is amazing, and leaves you wanting more. The episode 'The Constant' is one of my favourite episodes of the entire series, as well as the phenomenal finale. Can't wait till season 5.
