To be honest, I only bought this film because I knew Gerrard Butler was in it, I had no clue of the storyline.

A really god edge of your seat thriller with an interesting twist

This is not your typical thriller, it's a carefully laid out film that will keep you guessing till the end! A definite must watch and a film that I have recommended to so many people - watch it, rent it, buy it and beg, borrow (but don't steal it)! You will not be dissappointed I assure you (",)

This makes for a great watch. From the very beginning you are gripped with Piers Brosnan's epic performance as 'the bad guy'. A couple of twists in the film makes you wonder how it's going to end and what's going to happen next. Great film making with a fantastic story line. Definite 5 of ouf 5.

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars Highly enjoyable thriller with great performances

Butterfly On A Wheel is an engaging thriller with a story that should have most audiences guessing until the end. The film follows Gerard Butler and Maria Bello as a couple whose perfect lives are shattered when Pierce Brosnan takes their daughter hostage. While this doesn't sound the most original basis for a thriller, the film does become progressively more interesting throughout and tops it all off with a superb ending.

The reason the film works so well throughout is due to some intense performances from Gerard Butler and Maria Bello, who lend the film more than enough emotion for it to be convincing. Pierce Brosnan occasionally isn't quite as believable as a pistol-wielding psychopath, but on reflection this doesn't really detract anything from the movie.

Butterfly On A Wheel is not in any way an earth-shattering movie, nor is it one you're likely to watch more than once or twice. It is, however, an enjoyable thriller that is guaranteed to entertain throughout.
