Head of the family, in name only, is Dad Frank - a feckless, charmless, self-pitying, unemployed bully - a model father. Since mum went AWOL, dad hit the bottle leaving his six remarkably well-balanced children Fiona, Lip, Ian, Debbie, Carl, and Liam to fend for themselves. But the Gallaghers need not worry anymore, now they've teamed up with the local gangsters the Maguires, who continue to explode the myth of a conventional family.

Definately one of the best tv shows ever!
Shameless follows the lives of the Gallaghers,probably Britains most dysfunctional fictional family.
Each epiosode follows the lives of the Gallagher's,their friends and family and other folk and families on a rough Manchester council estate.
Containing laughs,anarchy,mayhem,drugs,violence and the often raw emotions and frictions of everyday family life.
Great actors and acting along with great storylines make Shameless an unmissable show.
I rate it 5/5 and highly recommend it.

...LOVE SHAMELESS! It's amazing. It's rude, crude and completely un-orthodox...but it really is one of THE greatest tv shows of all time. Definately worth the time and money.
