Good film and good debut by Danny Boyle, i would of given it 4 stars but there was a particular scene in the film which offended me and im sure for other people who have seen it will know which scene i'm talking about but apart from that good, quite funny at times and Robert Carlyle is an absolute psycho in it lol.

Very good film from Danny Boyle starring Ewan McGregor and Robert Carlyle, it is a hard hitting film tackling the addiction to drugs with a particular uncomfortable scene.

It is a masterpiece in it's own right, and has since become a very cult film that will continue to go down in the history books for years to come.

Still a classic film and a must have in your collection. The so called "Ultimate collectors edition" doesn't even say that on the box! So who knows what edition I got? Doesnt look like th picture above. Never mind its the film that counts isn't it?

 5 star film but a 3 star re-release

This is the 3rd outing for this great film and sadly seems to be lacking a lot of the extras of its previous version "Definitive Edition". For this reason I have knocked off a star as it seems it is just a repackaged and retitled DVD which really didn't need to happen.

The film itself is a well known modern classic and kickstarted Ewan McGregors career...with frequent rumours of a Trainspotting 2 it is a fan favourite.

 Modern Classic

At first I was disappointed by the fact that the movie only has 1 disc and comes in a crappy looking film4 case... Then I realised, none of that matters in the end. Trainspotting is a classic and one of Danny Boyle's finest, and everyone should own it.
