After dealing with the Wanna Be killers in Gangs. Kemp does one of the stupidest and bravest things in TV history. Never before has war been film so up close and in your ace. From the first episode you will be gripped, as the episodes unfold you will witness some of the most terrifying, intense and exhilariting footage of war ever filmed, to the point where you start flinching as you hear bullets zip over Kemp and the soldiers heads. No matter where you stand with your point of view, with either being Anti or Pro war in this deserlate and lawless land. You cannot do nothing else but admire the brave soldiers who give there life every day, to lift this war torn country from opression by a barbaric and psychotic regime in the shape of the Taliban.

Watched this from start to finish and was totaly hooked, Ross Kemp shows the real realities our troops face out in the middle east, i have nothing but respect for this guy and all troops serving out in afghan and iraq, buy this DVD, you wont regret it!!

Ive near enough seen this film about 2 times. Abit of the series and some on youtube!
But seriously buy the box set! I couldn't understand anybody else with out the training or anything who would want to go to afghanistan but thats what ross kemp does and is great at! Seriously! Great dvd for people who love war films because this is the real thing not a film! Also for people who are thinking about joining the army! Like me!

This programme, wether you watched it on Sky or have bought the DVD, highlights the onward struggle that faces the British Soldier as he tours the worlds hot spots. It could have well been Ross Kemp in Iraq (But thats old news), all the soldiers are paid for, trained and supplied with yours and their Tax money, and everyone is worth every penny. I just hope that part of the sales profit of this DVD go to the right cause, Help the heros etc. Ross Kemp has done the right thing and highlighted to the men in their ivory towers who only visit when the votes are needed, what the soldiers are doing on their behalf!

This is a well-made documentary which shows the real goings on in Afghanistan. We need more like this. My husband is currently serving in Afghanistan and is often without food - not enough supplies sent in! Shower facilities are a bucket!! These boys are doing their job but remember they are entitled to decent living and working conditions.
Remember these troops and the families that are behind them! WE NEED TO DO MORE TO SUPPORT THEM!!
