This documentary will take you on one hell of a roller coaster ride, from adrenaline, amazement, laughter,pain and tears, once you have watched this you will be shattered but left with an enormous feeling of pride in the forces (not just UK) who are risking their lives to try and bring peace to the world. Respect goes out to Ross who has done something no other actor or politician would do, he went on the front line, in the firing line to bring too us the coach potatoes, the real reality of war and the costs / sacrifices that go with it, on the battle field and for the families at home! This will really open your eyes to what this War is all about, my thoughts are with the guys fighting and their families. Keep up the good work. Your in my prayers!

for those who dont have sky one or havent watched this you need to buy it absoulutly fantastic documentory ross kemps best doc ever and i have watched all his docs in this he lives the life of a solider every day and he even admits to this experience in afganistan his most scaryest doc hes ever done MUST BUY*********

Ross is amazing in this ! How many other T.V Presenters would go through what he did just to show us @ home the Trauma of life the BRAVE GUYS over there go through EVERY DAY. If it was possible this Programme should Win a Oscar its THAT GOOD ! A TOTAL MUST HAVE ! ! !

A must watch this is Ross Kemp at his best following our troops and seeing what they are going though

This programme, wether you watched it on Sky or have bought the DVD, highlights the onward struggle that faces the British Soldier as he tours the worlds hot spots. It could have well been Ross Kemp in Iraq (But thats old news), all the soldiers are paid for, trained and supplied with yours and their Tax money, and everyone is worth every penny. I just hope that part of the sales profit of this DVD go to the right cause, Help the heros etc. Ross Kemp has done the right thing and highlighted to the men in their ivory towers who only visit when the votes are needed, what the soldiers are doing on their behalf!

This is a well-made documentary which shows the real goings on in Afghanistan. We need more like this. My husband is currently serving in Afghanistan and is often without food - not enough supplies sent in! Shower facilities are a bucket!! These boys are doing their job but remember they are entitled to decent living and working conditions.
Remember these troops and the families that are behind them! WE NEED TO DO MORE TO SUPPORT THEM!!

Well, I watched the majority of Ross's show on gangs around the world and it was indeed very good, and very worthy of the awards that it won. But this, this is a real step up for the man.

We've been waiting a long time to see life behind all the politics and news about what our soldiers go through on the front line, and finally we have something. I've always been so embarassed about how we support our troops over here in the UK. You go over to the US and they have posters and advertisements and special days where servicement get speical deals and free products, not here.

Obviously the UK is a long way off from that, but at least this is a step in the right direction, perhaps now people will show the respect that our troops deserve.

The show itself? Brilliant, it can flip from heartwarmingly tantilising, to gut-wrenchingly horrifying in an instant. Kemp is a good actor, but we can all be assured no acting took place on this trip.

Congratulations Ross, you've pulled it out of the bag, and I think that it should be the duty of every British citizen to watch this and see what our servicemen and women fight against, even if we don't agree with their cause.

A true must see.

This documentary is truly outstanding and it is about time that the public get the chance to see what we armed service personnel are doing out there i cant thank ross enough for putting his life on the line to show the british people that they need to be behind our troops and ignore the media!!! if you dont have this dvd get it .......NOW!!! you will not regret it!
