I'm very suprised at the amount of 5 stars this has got. The acting is good and some of the landscapes are stunning but it is let down by an incredibly drawn out and sometimes pointless script.
After about 2 hours I was just hoping that Jesse was assassinated in the near future before I fell asleep, and then when he was the film continued plodding along!

I'm not an action junkie, I do love a good story but in this film there is just so much unneccessary dialogue and meandering scenes with no purpose to them. It felt like alot longer than 2 hours and 40 minutes and not for the right reasons.

An interesting experience and clearly some do love it, but I never plan on watching this again in my lifetime! Once is more than enough

Brilliant performances, brilliant direction and beautiful cinematography.

Coming from a person that doesn't enjoy westerns I thought this film really was excellent.

Casey Affleck is superb. His love-hate relationship with Jesse James is portrayed fantastically well.

Brad Pitt gives another fine performance and to me equals his best role as Tyler Durden with this film.

Great film

Watch this just for Casey Affleck's performance!
He was robbed at the Oscars because they are all about ratings, this was the true gem performance of the year.
