 a true couple of legend`s

Im realy pleased that the incredible hulk is now on dvd.Ive been trying to get hold of thing`s from my childhood for year`s but when dvd`s came out it got harder.Im pleased as punch that the guys here at play can get hold of classic`s such as these. The late bill bixby & the still running lou ferigno are truely a couple of legend`s.The 70s bell bottom trouser`s that was don`t stop it from looking as good as they were back then.

a nice set of dvd`s stored in a well displayed box , easy to use menu`s & one or 2 extra feature`s.I will certainly be getting series 4 to go with my other`s.Keep these classic`s coming play we wouldent be able to get hold of them without you.

 Best season of the Hulk

I'm not surprised about the '12' rating. In this season, poor David Banner started to get beaten up, tortured and injured even more than the previous two. In fact, two episodes from season 3 were shown very late at night on ITV back in 1990. Metamorphosis, the season opener, concentrated on depression, suicide and drug abuse. The chilling Deathmask was about a serial killer. Gerald McRaney returned in his fourth appearance on the show as a jaded police chief coping with six murders in his town. He later arrests David for the crimes. Their scenes towards the end of the episode make for absolutely shocking television and definitely not for little kids.

There are other good episodes. This season had a pleasant mixture of light-hearted stories, blended together with more adult ones.

Probably the best episode of the lot is the exciting The Snare, in which David is stalked on an island by a madman, played with gleeful menace by Bradford Dillman.

Homecoming and The Psychic are the most touching and emotional stories of season 3. In the former, David visits his father and sister and tries to protect them from a ruthless landowner. The latter stars Bixby's ex-wife Brenda Benet as the title character who knows about David's secret and is afraid of him, yet eventually befriends him and foresees the death of Jack McGee...

Broken Image is one of the darker crime stories, in which Bixby plays another character, Mike Cassidy. He looks exactly like David and plans to use him as a pawn in a deadly game. There is a heart-stopping moment involving McGee.

Amongst the highlights of the season is Proof Positive, solely focussing on McGee as he confides in his new publisher about why he has to continue with his hunt for the Hulk. Great chase scene at the end, until our big green friend shows up.
