i only saw this film back in 1978 or whatever because my sister has a bit part in it. At he time I thought it was quite funny.

I was a nipper when these films came out (or perhaps ESCAPED would be a better phrase) in UK cinemas. They came out on video as soon as there was a market for them (early 1980's.) These films are only funny in patches, mainly due to nice ad-libbing by some talented thesps - who did it all for the money. Other than that, these films are not very funny and aren't in the slightest bit sexy.
The reason to buy this on DVD is the commentaries. The director speaks in earnest, and is (unintentionally) sublimely hilarious.
Rob Brydon is a vastly talented man, and his ITV spoof series of such commentaries is brilliant. He pretended to be a director of great self-importance... This DVD collection has got the real thing.
Worth the purchasse price alone !
