Yes, it certainly did.
I've been addicted to supernatural since episode one in 2004 on sky one. At first it scared me to no end given how young i was. However i'm one of those strange people who don't like to feel fear and challenge it. I've grown up with the show now and we're currently awaiting season four or watching it in america and having seen and owning all three series and watched the first six episodes of season four i can tell you this tv show is like no other. I watch heroes, i watch lost, i watch house, watched tru calling, 4400 ect... Nothing even comes close to comparing. If you like bones, x files, fringe, lost, ghost whisperer, heroes, even the likes of desperate house wives (guilty) you will love this show.

This review is for the more mature and older guys n gals... imagine the X-Files, but theres 2 Mulders, 1 of which is Sam Winchester and the other Dean Winchester, these boys both hunt demons, monsters n ghouls from history and myth, basically worst nightmares come true!
Sam is like Mulders Interlectual side, were as Dean is Mulders cool, cocky, fun lovin' arrogant side, but there both believers in supernatural stuff! so you dont get a Scully character always doubting whats going on.

The Mythology (the main storylines) episodes are great, but what really stands out in Supernatural is the stand alone episodes, they are very much the same as the X-files storylines for there stand alone episodes, most of them exact to be fare, just with some slight changes and none of the same characters. Where in the X-files they were always trying to prove something existed and defeat it, in Supernatural they no they exist, so they get right in to the tracking them down an destroying them, which leaves you with a lot of time to explain what the creatures are, instead of being slighty confused and bewildered like you sometimes were in the X-files.

If youre like me, a huge fan of the X-files and youd really like to see it again, heres a nice alternative, its agreat show, good storylines, and good acting. its also not short of sexy ladys either which doesnt hurt!

Season 1 *****

Supernatural is a great TV series. And the demons, Ghosts, etc. are always done good. Each episode is like a little horror movie, and this great TV series doesn't get the recognition it deserves. Part time Director and Exclusive producer Kim Manners is magnificent. McG is great aswell as the producer. And the Acting from Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles is immense. This first season really gets you interested in the story and characers.

The Demon Busting duo are back to hunt the things that go bump in the night again!

In my opinion season 2 of Supernatural is the better of the first 3. And the brothers are back to hunt more supernatural creatures and even a clown! Creepy! Kim Manners is once again on top form with her episodes, And Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles are great once again. And so is McG as always. The episodes in Season 3 were great and i thought that all the creatures and ghosts looked better done, probably due to a budget rise.

Season 3 ****
Sam and Dean go on the road again to stop more demons, ghosts and monsters. As Dean's time running out, and Sam desperate to not lose everyone close to him. The season builds for an epic finale and delivers.
The 3rd season of supernatural is great. Fans of Supernatural will not be disappointed! But In my opinion season 2 of Supernatural is still the best out of the 3.
Even though the 3rd season is great it really is a shame it was cut short due to the writers strike. The usual 22 episodes were cut to a shameful 16. I can't stop but think what we missed out on due to the strike. As usual though McG and Kim Manners, in particular, once again did an outstanding job. The new characters of Lilleth and Ruby were great aswell and the season finally will have to gagging for the 4th season and hopefully the 5th aswell.

5 stars for this great TV series, it's well worth the money and would recommend it to anyone.
