I was exited to watch this film as the first frightened me a lot and was very gripping. I was slightly disappointed but not much. This storyline was more based around the young couple so got me a bit teary when events unfolded as I did get very into the story.
I feel this film was very much still quite creepy and a good film but not as scary as the first.

One Missed Call was a great movie so I had high hopes for the sequel, I was disappointed in a few places but still I got some of the things I expected.
One Missed Call 2 is primarily a love story and at times can come off as a little bit mushy and cheesy. In a scene near the end of the movie the horror is high and you know you're going to be scared but the love dialogue takes you away from the horror and the scares, instead of grabbing the bedcovers in fear I almost reached for a bucket.
One Missed Call 2 isn't a bad movie, it has a decent enough story with some good scares, I really feel some of the moments and dialogue were just a little too lovey dovey for this movie and ended up causing the scares to be less effective. Compared its predecessor One Missed Call 2 just fails to reach the same level but its still better than some of the J-Horror movies out there.

What makes this film stand out from a lot of horror films is that within the storyline there is a very strong love story and characters that you care about. It is slightly confusing and you do need to concentrate. It does help to have seen the first one though not essential.
