If adventure has a name... it must be Indiana Jones
Indiana Jones And The Temple Of Doom sees Harrison Ford reprise his now famous role as the intrepid archeologist, Dr. Jones.
After narrowly escaping Shanghai with his life, Indiana Jones finds himself deep in India, with a lounge singer named Willy (Kate Capshaw) and a kid called Short Round (Jonathan Ke Quan). Jones comes across a village who are desperate to find the legendary Sankara Stone which was stolen from them. Jones agrees to find it for them and stumbles upon a secret cult plotting a terrible plan in the catacombs of an ancient palace.

Maybe the bar was raised too high in the first classic outing, and any sequel/prequel would find it near impossible to match.
This is the case of The Temple Of Doom. The film may have it's faults, but this is still a amazing thrill ride, that dazzles with it's show stopping action sequences and imagination.
This may not be Jones's best adventure, but for oustanding entertainment and escapism, this is one thrill ride that should not be missed!

Living up to Raiders Of The Lost Ark is one mighty task but this film doesn't fall short, the action is non-stop and the mine chase is one of the best action scenes I've witnessed in my time, that combined with Indy's comedic sidekick Short Round this film is another classic.
