Well, he probably can. But if he ever is, I think I may actually pass out from laughter. First off, my one and only criticism of this dvd being, I was at a gig on the tour itself, and yeah, maybe I'm biased, but it was so much better. The crowd were into it a bit more, it just generally made for a better/funnier time. Plus a lot of jokes from that night seem to have been cut from this dvd, which was just a little disappointing, but nothing I can't live with.
Positives, you ask? Basically, everything else! The man never fails to deliver. And what he delivers is every one liner to absolute perfection resulting in not only "fall out of your seat" laughter, but to the point where you're almost gagging for air. If he continues the trend of getting funnier, I'll be awaiting the day when I read the obituaries to find that the result of someone's death was a Carr-induced breathing failure.
The extras on this dvd, while lacking compared to the last three, are still just genius. Basically being a compilation of gags from the rest of the tour that wasn't filmed for dvd, but they're presented with often hilariously worked animations. Going by the name of Carr-toons, they're just as funny as the rest of the show, but with the added bonus of seeing Mr. Carr as a puppet!
Final mention, has to go to the subtitles. With your choice of plain English, Scouse, Glaswegian, Geordie, and more, you'll be brilliantly entertained further whether you're from this areas or just enjoy laughing at other people, and let's face it, if you're buying a Jimmy Carr dvd, we know you enjoy laughing in the face of others misery. An excellent dvd all around, and definitely worth a buy.
