This film was so boring it is unbelievable, and you cannot believe it actually could happen. Dont buy it please

This film comes from the guys who brought you the terminally naff and overrated Wolf Creek....but don't let that put you off, cos they've improved immeasureably since then, as Storm Warning is actually a pretty great horror movie!

This film basically uses the tried and tested formula of "some naive innocent guys end up trapped in the house of derranged homicidal redneck hillbillies" in the style of Texas Chainsaw Massacre, House Of 1000 Corpses, etc....Rob and his wife Pia end up at the mercy of 3 insane yokels, locked in the barn, and having witnessed the family carry out a sadistic murder, it seems there is nothing they can do.....however this is where Storm Warning comes into it's own, as the victims aren't helpless losers, and are more than capable of dealing with these rednecks. Rob is a pretty dull character, however his wife Pia is the star of the show, sassy, intelligent and resourceful, and some of the inventions she comes up with to protect herself from her captors are so good that the A-Team should recruit her right now!

With some of the maddest and most inventive death sequences you'll ever see, a tense and creepy atmosphere, and a 100mph pace, Storm Warning is an absolute riot from start to finish. This is the kind of film you'll only want to see once, but for fans of gory horror B-movies with a retro feel, it's an absolute most.

this aussie film is superb!!its full of tension and nail biteing moments that have you on the edge of your seat waiting for whats going to happen next.the first death scene is amazing,ive never seen anything like it before and im a big horror fan,i wont give it away but my title gives a little hint!!!!this in my opinion is what a horror should be,one that doesnt just rely on gore but has tension,action,payback and its fun!!!!

I wasnt too sure what to expect when I bought this but after what looked like a cheap T.V film to start with turned into a class horror were I didnt know what was going to happen next. Ofcourse there have been many films like this before but it offers fans a feast of fresh killings that should keep everyone amused.
If you liked wolf creek you will love this!

Decent little Horror/Revenger "This one Riffs on alot of different movies and some of the Death scenes ring a bell from other movies and the Crazy hick Backwards Family things been done many times"But"Storm warnings well shot,Everybody plays there parts reasonably well and when the Mayhem finally kicks in"It,s alotta Fun.It actually reminded me of a sort of Classic Woman Scorned Type film.It,s a good job the lady Kicks plenty Ass because we couldent help but think the guy was slightly wimpish and not alot of help at all realy,This mean French momma will definatly wear the Trousers in this blokes house from now on,,ha,,ha.So all in all Storm warnings a nice little Nasty Aussie Treat.

If your looking for a good Saturday night movie, then this is the one!
This is a great action/horror survival-type movie and the hero is ...a woman: Nadia Fares (The Nest) and she's BADASSS.

Along the same story as wrong turn and hills have eyes etc.
2 people,wrong place wrong time etc.
find a old house, take refuge, sick owners come home, death etc from then on.
its not a bad film and does leave you with that lump in your throat waiting for whats next, which you know anyway.
Save your money in my opinion and wait for the price to lower.

a film thats very voilent witch has some nice bits and enjoyable but forgetable

amazingly this is a pretty good film.a return to the aussie directors indie roots.i picked up the R1 dvd but this R2 dvd has more extras.worth checking out.

I saw this film last summer at the London Fright Fest weekend. I wasn't sure what to expect as it was from Director Jamie Blanks who made "Valentine" and "Urban Legend" ... although those films were fun, Storm Warning is a much more dark, brutal horror movie, and a different direction for the director.

The film is very tightly shot together and moves along at a very fast pace. The death scenes are VERY imaginative (sometimes bordering on silly!), but overall this film retains a lot of tension and there are some superbly shot tense scenes that are not all about blood and gore.

It's definately worth checking this out if you want a tense, fun, but bloody scary horror movie.
