I love this film so much i think the fight scenes are good and the acting is more than acceptable. Also a lot of people criticising this because its like the karate kid, why? It's the only accpetable way they could've made the film, if they'd tried to mimic 'fight club' then it would've sucked

Great movie, bit boring at times but mostly it was top notch. Got me pretty motivated :)

Lame, modern day mixed martial arts-version of Karate kid. Completely predictable from start to finish. Hot chics, though.

After hearing mixed reviews about the movie i decided i must see it, the first time i watched it i was hooked, the playlist in the movie is amazing great music to get you going. The fight scenes are truly spectacular, slow motion shots and all there are a good amount of fights but not to many to turn it into a full on fighting film with no story.

This film is worthy of the 4stars i have given it. With enthralling fight scenes for the guys, and the sexy men for the girls, this is a film for everyone, and which never fails to capture the viewer's attention.

Me & my boyfriend have probably watched this film about 10 times. Twice in the same day! Amazing film!! DEFO worth every penny!

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, the action in it is very good and the acting is first class.however I am only giving this movie 4 stars because in my opinion it is too commercialised and dont think that it is as good as fight club which does deserve 5 stars. I would still highly reccomend this to anyone though.

I saw a trailer for this film a while ago and instantly dismissed it as being one of those straight to DVD, zero plot, wooden acted, over the top American films. The type that the Radio Times would rate as 'passed the time'.

But having watched it I can honestly say that I thoroughly enjoyed this film.

The acting is pretty good, the characters are fairly believable, the filming style and camera work is stylish, plus the soundtrack is good.

Don't get me wrong, this films plot is pretty straight forward and at times does slip into 'cheese mode'. Also, there were a couple of (small) things that didn't add up (to me anyway) ... but they are few and far between and instantly forgivable.

In a nut shell 'Never Back Down' is a re-working of The Karate Kid more or less. There are a few changes but there are also some, almost funny, similarities! All in all I was pleasantly surprised by this film and would recommend it.

My advice! If you go into this film taking it for what it is you'll really enjoy it.
