This really is an amazing series. Unlike many of the murder investigation style programmes out there this one really keeps you on your toes. Sometimes you can be so sure you know who did it and it's all turned around in the last few minutes. There are so many red herrings you can smell the box set from a mile away. The sometimes graphic nature of wire in the blood helps to make the whole experience feel more mature than some detective shows and over all leaves you with that warm feeling you can only get from seeing someone's murdered remains and guessing who killed them.
