Small Town Folk

This film was awful, very awful, incredibly awful, so awful that it's just awful. I looked at the front cover of the film, thinking this could be great. I have learnt never judge a book by it's cover.
The moment the first scene came on the telly, I knew I was going to waste up to 2hrs of my life.
The victims never properly reacted to anything in the film, which showed how pants they really were. It made me think that they were volunteers from the local area who probably replied to an add in the paper to star in a film and not professional, or even amateur, actors.
The townsfolk themselves were dreadful, They were trying to act like a mentally handicaped version of "Wrong Turn". They were not menacing or scarey, or if it was intended that they were meant to be funny, it failed.
The music score sounded similar to an episode of Chuckle Vision.
This film was not scarey at all. It was rubbish. I hated every second of it.
I shuddered after watching the credits and finding out it was filmed near where I live. That was the only scarey part of the film.
Please don't waste your time or money on this garbage.

I have never written i review of anything i have ever watched but after this i feel i have to!!!
i can say that with complete honesty it is the worst tripe i have ever seen and a complete waste of a dvd!!!
This film is based around the town of Grockleton with a bunch of maniacs who prey on innocent people who happen to wander in to there path.The script is rubbish and pointless and at the end of the film you are left wondering why you have just wasted an hour and a half of your life!!!!

I saw the preview of this film... and it was amazing. Small Town Folk show cases some serious new British film talent (cast and crew). BUY IT NOW!!!! Jodie.

I don't often buy DVDs anymore but this is one of those that's worth getting to keep and watch again, plus to show your mates... Quality film, really funny with good dark humour, and plenty of blood & guts! Any fan of the genre will love this film... on it's way to being a cult classic!

This is a fun, comical, movie, that is not trying to do anything but entertain you. Well worth watching. I really liked it. Was nice to see something different to the norm.
