I loved season one of californication watched all the episodes on tv and i'll be getting it now its on dvd i cant wait for the second season to start... =)

My dad brought this on dvd, And I could not stop watching it. Well worth buying (I plan to get it next month).

Saw so many good reviews so decided to give this a go. I have to admit wasn't sure whether I could see past David Duchovny as Mulder, but after 5 minutes, such a great performance I was totally drawn in. The writing is funny, gripping, sharp with lots of twists and turns. Ended up watching the entire series over just 2 days! Cant wait for season 2

Ok so i havnt actualy bought it yet, adn this is one of my families acount as i dont have my own.But iv watched teh whole season atleast twice on tv, its one of the best programes to be released recently. I Recomend you buy it, and hell as soon as i get the money i will too. Great how, Great Story, Great Acting..... and i suppose if you like that kind of thing theres also some of them moral messages and stuff in there too. Over all a great programme, and well worth the money

A friend gave me the advice to watch this serie en and from episode 1, I was very very impressed with the script and acting skills! I'm not the biggest fan of David but after watching this he totaly changed my opinion about him. A must see for everybody that had a sence of humor.

The channel this is shown on in the states (Showtime) is responsible for great shows such as Weeds and the brilliant Dexter so it's no surprise that this is fantastic! I was lucky enough to have watched the entire first series before it came out over here in the UK and when I saw it advertised on Five I made it my mission to tell everyone I knew about it!

I can totally see why David won a Golden Globe for this!

I can honestly say that this is one of the best programmes i have ever watched. It is completely no holds barred in every way and funny, witty and very well written from start to finish! I dont want to go into detail with the plot as it would only ruin it for you but however much this dvd costs then i would pay it! Please trust me on this as i have never written a review before and this programme prompted me to write one. Happy Watching!

The majority of my friends missed this on tv at the time of screening but have all been converted since. With an abundance of dry humour and sexual antics throughout, there is also a deeper emotional storyline underneath which will appeal to both sexes. Loved it!

A great and refreshing performance from David Duchovny. He performance is NOT an X-Files take off. The show is dark, funny, very rude and brilliantly acted. A must buy. Can't wait for season 2!

Not just for David Duchovny fans, but for anyone who has a sense of humour! One of the best TV drama/comedys that I have seen in many years. A far cry from Agent Mulder but charm in abundance from Mr Duchovny. Everyone in this show deserves multiple awards. I cannot wait until this arrives on my doorstep or for Series 2 to reach our TV screens.
