Doctor Who (New Series 4): Volume 1

Ok I was very nervous chritical even I dont Like Karen Tate. But I was very wrong there are three diffrences in this partner ship 1 she dosent fancy the Docter and the Docter dosent fancy her and 3 shes White. other than that nothing same tething problem as I dont think every one has worked out how to write for donna. Partners in Crime - Very good won me over from the start funny fast and refreshing up there with the Best

The Fires of Pompeii - Ok Monsters were not perfict but I did like the Idea and the Exicusion was good and there were some nice tuchies in this if you pay attention.

Planet of the Ood - This one was I cant put my finger on it it was wrong some how I cant realy remember Donna doing anything and I get the feeling that the rest of the cast were on the screen more than the Docter/Donna allmost as if the were unneccesery. It was Ok though.

Firstly, it is only the first two I dont like here, Planet of the Ood is a good episode and just prevents me from giving it a 1 star. This is Who at its worst. Partners in Crime is terrible. At times its that bad it is laughable. It is supposed to be some kind of self-parody but it fails miserably, and Doctor Who isnt a funny show, it never really has been. The Adipose were just awful, and the part where donna waves goodbye to her grandad from inside the TARDIS makes you want to stop watching Doctor Who. Fires of Pompeii was slightly better, but too much was going on. Just cannot be compared to pretty much anything from series 1 or 2.

A fantastic 4th series made even better by the top class performance of Catherine Tate who is simply astounding as Donna Noble. Tennant & Tate work fantstically together. A great change from the dire acting talents shown by Freema Agyeman during the shows third series.

Excellent purchase - very fast delivery as always and of course the episodes were amazing.

Partners in Crime: 9/10
The Fires of Pompeii: 10/10
Planet of the Ood: 7/10

it really is! great to see david tennant back! and catherine tate is so amazing! i love her character and she is an amazing actress, she has bought some comedy to the series :)

Don't get me wrong, i would give this series a 5 star rating if it wasn't for the 1 star performance of Catherine Tate. Hopefully she won't be back next series. The plot lines are superb and i hope that another series is on its way!

this new series is far more better than the first there is more thrills than ever i cant even wait till martha rose and donna are it together i think its going to go out with a bang this year

Doctor who is Fantastic! Was not sure about Catherine Tate as Donna at first but she has grown on me! brilliant episodes, the acting is excelent and the series is getting better and better as it goes along. just seen the latest episode , the silence in the library which was brilliant! also keep an eye out for rose!

Although I love Dr Who I don't find the amount of episodes on a DVD is fair... American Seasons can be bought for £30 for 23-24 episodes but why does Dr Who sell for £60 for a 13 episode box set...?

Wow great start to a fantastic series. Partners in crime is great fun, sooo funny! TFOP is emotional and epic. POTO is a little disapointing but a still great entertainment.
