Review

A young woman awakes to find herself imprisoned in a serial killer's basement. She is not the first to captivate his perverse affection, Herman has been searching for the perfect girl, but all he's collected are pieces - a chunk of hair; a severed finger; a jar of blood - and now, the alluring and beautiful Rudy.

Imprisoned in a wooden cage and yet refusing to play along in his twisted game, she has only her wits to use against his savage and murderous insanity. Will she win the desperate, hallucinatory game of cat and mouse and escape through The Cellar Door, or die trying?

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars ONE OF THE BEST LOW BUDGET HORROR FILMS OF ALL TIME!

When people look over my reviews they may notice that I only review films that I enjoy. Believe me, there are plenty that I do not but I would rather spend my time with an aim to encourage people towards good films than discourage them away from bad ones. It is clearly obvious throughout this film that it is a low budget horror but for being exactly that in what it is it pulls off a pretty damn good show. Scary but most importantly clever. I would recommend this to anybody and everybody!

Started off looking promising, then got very silly - more like a black comedy. Lots of blood and gore if you like that sort of thing. Wouldn't really recommend it but give it a go and make up your own mind! Quite an amusing but daft ending. Play.com recommend this film, they have obviously not seen a good horror yet!
