Persepolis is a superb animated film adaptation of the comic strip. A lovely film, tragic, funny and revealing an Iran we Europeans hardly know. Although the author and director is clearly against the current regime, she's also a warm patriot. Absolutely worth seeing.
This is just great,reminded me of my own childhood and what people of iran went through and still going through,while the west is still not any wiser of true identity of iranian's.
Great watch,highly recommended.
Very interesting to find out from the inside what happened in Iran just before and after the revolution. Great script, very well done (animation by hand), witty and humorous dialogues for such a serious issue.
