The Girl Who Leapt Through Time

This is such a good film. I'm new to watching anime, i only have a few but this has to be one of my favourites. It has such a lovely story and i would recommend it 100%

I bought this on a whim and haven't regreted doing so.

The artwork isn't for anyone if your not so much a fan of 'Neon Genisis Evangelion' and it does start off a little slow, but once the film gets going your sucked in and on two occasions I was crying. This film has a great array of characters, a plot that's so unique and brilliant and the artwork does grow on you.

I recommend buying this, its one of the best anime films ever.

If you watch just the first 10 minutes of this movie you won't like it. The story seems to be slow and the artwork is a little bland at first. But if you look past that first 10 minutes you will watch one of the best anime films ever made. This is the tale of someone trying to fix their life by rewinding a trying again, similar to Groundhog Day. This story has been told many times before but this probably one of the best versions of the classic story.

This film is quite possibly one of the best films i've ever seen.

Everything about it is just beautiful; the animation, the acting and the storyline. If you're a fan of anime, the art in this film is quite different from the usual style of anime!

Having read all the reviews, I was expecting a film of the standard set by Studio Ghibli! As the title says I was disapointed! This film just did not hold my attention and to even mention Spirited Away in the same paragraph is not justified. Real avarage anime. Go buy any film from Miyazaki.

This film was great! Couldn't of asked for better! It had its cute moments and funny ones as well but the plot was simply amazing! It has obvious turns in the plot and then suddenly it will have completly unexpected turns. This film is great if you like anime or want a cute funny romantic film to watch. There is only one thing to point out though, that whilst the picture says PG and play.com gives it a PG rating, its actually a 12. :)

This production is one of the best that I have seen, not only with regards to animation, but overall! Quickly and easily became a favourite. Very epic and extremely clever.

It consists of everything: comedy, romance, science-fiction, drama, and that is not to mention the amazing art and designs. It was a truely amazing movie, and it was made interesting to watch the wonderful events which occur be repeated over and over. It was very smartly made concerning time-travelling.

The characters are all greatly adaptable, as is the entire atmoshere of the film. It is a very happy and emotional film that has everything in it to make it an overall amazingly beautiful and heart-warming production.

Personally, this is the type of movie that I look for, but I would most definitely recommend this to any anime fan.. and anyone else for that matter. This should not be missed by anyone! It is simply astounding! I am already looking forward to watching it once more.

This little gem had three generations in tears on Christmas Day. Wonderful, moving film and a firm, fast favourite!

As a major anime fan I was browsing on here to add another to my collection when I came across this particular film, I read the review and watched the mini trailer. As with some of my other anime dvd I thought what the hell and I have to say I can't believe what a great film this truely is. Over an hour and a half of spectacular story, which had me gripped from the beginning. The main character was brilliantly portraited as an every day teen, and fitted perfectly with the story. And the animation style was just fantastic, overal Just spectacular.
