I didn't really know what this film was about when I first saw the trailer and did not know what to expect... but the film has a real truth about it... and it is something I think everyone could relate to in different ways... there are some very touching scenes and the depiction of first sexual experiences is very close to the mark! A great film! Worth a watch most definately!

A really good movie. It portrays a young girls search to find her place in society. She struggles with romantic feelings towards a girl on the synch.swimming team. Carefully these emotions bubble to the surface and the girls find eachother. The film is beautifully made and i recommend it to all ages and particularly to young girls.
This film is based on the relationship between 3 teenage friends and set around a backdrop of syncronised swimming.
Water Lilies is extremely well made. The film tackles many issues related to growing up and teenage adolescence. The acting from the young cast is excellent and the soundtrack also works well.
Overall a very intriguing film, well worth a watch.
