This has possibly got to be one of the scariest...... trailers for a thoroughly unscary film I have ever seen! What began as a joke with my house mate over how "scared" he was when watching it has turned into complete disbelief on my behalf at the amount of people who rate this as one of the greatest films ever?! Im assuming the english speaking world are buying into the exotic hype that you can get when watching a foreign film and that it is shot in a "unique" (Blair Witch....!) style of filming. But it really isnt that good. You feel no connection with any of the main characters, its far too choppy (regardless of how it was filmed) and you get the sense of over acting from the "zombies", the kind of over acting you would expect from a low budget, amateur production.

By all means rent it out. The best part of it is possibly the last 10 minutes, however, you become so bored and disillusioned by this point that you fail to really be that "on edge" come the end. With 2 stars I think im being over generous.

This truly is an amazing zombie horror.
From the moment they enter that apartment block you're on the edge of your seat and really feel like you're going through everything with them.
I watched this film at the cinema and I've never experienced anything like it. My heart was pounding through the entire film.

Admittedly, when I bought this DVD and watched it at home it wasn't the same but it's still defiantly worth buying.

When watching this DVD I recommend surround sound and turn off the lights to truly appreciate the tension this film delivers.

This is a really great horror. I only managed to catch up with it after the U.S remake Quarantine. Although subtiltled, the super scary spin on The Blair With Project, does press all the right buttons, as the camera crew making a film about Fire Men are drawn into a nightmare. At times it's hard to figure out what is exactly going on, as the camera jumps rewinds, cuts and wabbles, but this only adds to the confusion and terror of what is unfolding. It may be a low budget movie, but what it does is amazing. The final fives minutes of the film, that is shot in the dark, is terrific, leading to a shocking and uncompromising ending.
This is a real treat of a horror film,don't be put off with the subtitles, as if you are a fan of the recent batch of Zombie/ Plague movies this is not to be missed.

Can't believe I've just read a review of this movie giving it one star. Ignore these idiots, this is a great horror movie which will have you hiding behind your hand for the most part. I took it to a work training course where we have to stay over and having watched it one night with about 5 or 6 friends word of mouth has forced me to lend it out as now everyone else wants to see it. Many said it was the scariest film they'd ever seen. Check the internet movie database for lots more reviews and ignore idiots giving it such terrible reviews.

I have been looking forward to seeing this for so long, I wanted to see it at the cinema but unfortunatley I couldnt find one that was showing it.
I recieved the dvd from Play.com this morning and couldnt resist putting it on straight away.

It is exactly what I expected which was 75 minutes of cinematic gold.
This is without doubt the best horror I have seen in recent years.
Though clearly inspired by the "Blair Witch Project" and "28 Day/Weeks Later" it feels so original and unlike any of the big-budget rubbish the Americans give us.
This is an absolute must buy dvd for all, not just people into horror or people into world cinema but everyone and for the price £5.99 how can you afford not to?
