It all started with a brilliant flash of light - and then a thunderous explosion. In the desert, in a sleepy town in the middle of nowhere, something has just fallen from the sky! Within the hour, all the townspeople - except a single infant and a drunkard old man - are dead. Now an elite scientific unitare sent in to study the deadly virus, determine its origin and figure out a way to stop it... Before its too late!

A rather enjoyable show. A little long at nearly 3 hours. Could have been made much better without the inclusion of Will from Will & Grace.
Slightly hammy acting but a good story none the less. I still rate OUTBREAK as the best of this genre.
LOST TWO STARS BECAUSE OF THE THUMB INCIDENT - you will know when you see - TOTALLY RIDICULOUS!!!
Not a strain to watch.

I saw the casting in this film / mini series and thought what the hell it got a bad review when i first looked at this thought id give it a chance.
It was good to see Eric Mcormac back on the screen and some other recocognisable faces. I never saw the original that everyone is talking about so I can only base my opinions on this one ive seen.
I thought this film was rather good, the story was interesting and the action very good. I understood what was going on so they didnt over complicate things, the graphics were good. I believe this was throughly entertaining.
The only reason why I gave this film a 4 instead of a 5 was becaue it was around the 3 hours mark and some bits where a bit drawn out, but still enjoyable :)
