Last seen together in the box-office smash Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby director Adam McKay brings Will Farrel and John C Reilly back together again in Step Brothers!

In Step Brothers Ferrell plays Brennan Huff, a sporadically employed thirty-nine-year-old who lives with his mother, Nancy (Mary Steenburgen). Reilly plays Dale Doback, a terminally unemployed forty-year-old who lives with his father, Robert (Richard Jenkins). When Robert and Nancy marry and move in together, Brennan and Dale are forced to live with each other as step brothers. As their narcissism and downright aggressive laziness threaten to tear the family apart, these two middle-aged, immature, overgrown boys will orchestrate an insane, elaborate plan to bring their parents back together. To pull it off, they must form an unlikely bond that maybe, just maybe, will finally get them out of the house.

This is a good return to form for Will Ferrell after the disappointing Blades of Glory and the lame Kicking & Screaming.
The premise was good, John C Reilly stole the first half. The character of Will Ferrell's brother (I think it was Derik) got off Waaaaay to lightly. Very good film, very funny, good length. WARNING - VERY crude in parts tho.

 AWESOME!

This film is hilarious! My favourite Will Ferrell one for sure & definitely a must see for all Ferrell fans. It's brilliant! Good story line, kept me laughing throughout and will definitely be watching this again! Highly recommended!

I don't know if this would stand up to repeated views, but watching it once is enough to leave you with sore sides from laughter. This may be one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time. Don't expect a heavy duty story. It's thin, but filled with one crack after another that could draw a chuckle from a corpse.
This is the first time I have went to the cinema and people were in reality rolling in the aisles. It's as stupid as mud, but just leave your brain at the door, sit back and enjoy.

I didn't find one laugh throughout this film nothing but foul language and filth, I would not recommend this to any one

 Brilliant and Brilliant!!

I am a HUGE Will Ferrell fan and I have watched all his movies. This guy is a comedy God!! Yes, there was a time when Jim Carrey was the main funny man of the 90's but he had to pull a face to make you laugh. With Will Ferrell, all he has to do is say something and you wet yourself laughing.
Great features and this will leave you wetting yourself hard!!
