Pineapple Express

Think 'Knocked Up' with guns instead of babies and you'll have some idea what to expect. The chemistry between Rogen and Franco is good enough to make this a decent, believable buddy movie. In some ways this is the most accomplished of the current wave of Rogen movies; as the narrative and jokes/action seem to come from one another - rather than having a series of sketches bolted onto a plot. It does seem to lose its footing a little towards the end; think 'Hot Fuzz' (but not in a good way) - and so it falls short of 5/5. However, this is every bit as good as 'Superbad' - so if you enjoyed that then you'll find just as much to enjoy here.

..Completely oblivious to this film until some random chick (definitely not my girlfriend) suggested we go see it. So i was like hell yeah, cos she has boobs. It started slow, and i was slightly annoyed by the fat man i had half seen in previous dire new wave comedies. However, the stella performances of james franco and that other guy lifted this film from doldrums and brought genuine warmth to my heart. Watch this magnificent tale of true friendship, you will not regret it.

I was honestly expecting better from this film, i honestly do think this films highly overrated.
Little amount of laughs, lacks comedy.

if u like a good nite in with a mash mooney then this is the film 4 u.by far 1 of the funniest films ive seen.watch out for the fork part.made me giggle for bloody ages.all in all a great film you could watch time and time again.big thumbs up from me...

This film is so good. Seen it a couple of times now on DVD with different people and everyone loves it. Reccomended for guarenteed laughs :)
