Trevor your one of these film critics who looks so deep into every film that you cant enjoy one for what it is!so what if its cliched,so what if the acting aint great(they didnt make it to win oscars!)and yes it is over the top but who cares thats what makes it so brilliant and entertaining!!it reminded me of your die hard films with the over the top action scenes and the shoot em up scenes reminded me of commando,no matter how many people shot at him with machine guns from about 5 metres, they all seemed to miss!!but hey isnt that what makes it entertaining. I personally havent been entertained by a film as much as this one for a long time so if you want to be entertained and gripped go watch this or if your the sort of film critic trevor is i suggest you avoid,i mean so what if were easily pleased, isnt that the point of watching a film!!!!!!!!

What can I say? I was thrilled, immersed and on the edge of my seat from start to finish with this film. It is written in the thrilling style that we have come to love from the Bourne Trilogy with the grit of a hardened gangster film. Liam Neeson producers one of the best acting performances of his career without any major supporting actor/actress. The film basically is about Liam going on a manhunt after his daughter gets taken (hence the name of the film) and is a flawless thrill ride throughout with no slack on the pace. If anything the pace gets faster right up till the end. The film is a must see as it is one of the best films to be made this year giving bourne and bond a run for their money.

Watched this film with my wife and we both loved it, a very different role for Liam Nesson as the multi talented father on a mission to rescue his kidnapped daughter. Action all the way with some brilliant fight scenes, if you like the Bourne films this is right up your street. A great watch.

 Full of action and surprises

Brilliant movie, very similar to the 'Bourne' series. The film is full of 93 minutes of fighting, fear, chasing and excitement at serious pace. The artwork and direction is nicely done, giving you the feeling of being the one attacking and the chair squirming feeling of being the poor gits who get annihilated in almost every way possible. It was one of those films that I wanted to applause after the film....
