This sequel to 2005s madagascar falls slightley short of the original. Still a very enjoyable film i found the story somewhat laking and the slapstick comedy at times silly. Despite this you should still find this film funny and exciting. Overall a welcome addition to anyones collection.

  An outstanding film

WOW, Dreamworks have done it again, this film is outstanding. The plot of the film is very good and the whole film is full of laugh after laugh. As usual the lighthearted zoo animals Marty, Melman, Gloria, Alex, Mort, Penguins and the famous King Julian make sure that you never at any point stop laughing. King Julian is just so funny that in his scenes you cant help laughing everytime you watch it(even if you already seen it before). The whole film is very good and im just keeping my fingers crossed for a Madadasgar 3!

  Not too sure ....

I LOVE this film! The penguins are hilarious, as are ,of course, the main characters Alex, Marty, Melman and Gloria. The motley crew some how fashion an aeroplane in an attempt to return to New York City but instead end up just a few miles further from Madagascar, in the middle of an African game reserve, where Alex discovers his past and heritage, and the others find new things to keep them occupied. This sequel is just as good, if not better, than the first. And as per usual, King Julian of the Lemurs is so annoying you want to jump through the screen and shake him up a bit!!! Look out for some new (and old) characters too. Kids and adults alike will appreciate the effort put in from Dreamworks. I personally think this is one of their greatest achievements, second only to the Shrek saga. And a steal at just 3.99... Buy it!

Its very hard that sequels come anywhere close to being as good as the first film, however this sequel has managed to be just as good, just as funny, if not better than the 1st Madagascar.
Kids and Adults will love it.

  Good sequel.

A good follow up to the first film with plenty of laughs, will keep the kids entertained whilst also offering some humour for adults too.
