The House Bunny (2008) is a fluffy campus comedy starring Anna Faris, Emma Stone, Kat Dennings, Katharine McPhee, Rumer Willis and Colin Hanks.

The slightly silly plot revolves around a playboy bunny (Faris) who joins a college sorority full of stereotypical geeks and attempts to help them become more popular.

To her credit Anna Faris is quite good in the leading role and gives a bubbly and innocent performance. There is some decent support from the likes of Stone and Willis but their characters are too cliched and shallow to make much impact.

Director Fred Wolf (Strange Wilderness) does a fair job with the movie but its let down by a weak script with very few genuine laughs. The House Bunny is clearly trying to mimic Legally Blonde but it struggles to be anything other then very average.

Great laugh out loud comedy with a simple but fun storyline. The film is worth watching for Anna Faris alone as she is amazing in the role of the playboy playmate who is incredibly sexy, she has barely got anything on most of the time. It's a silly feel good comedy worth the money.
