Shaina loves Ranvir but through a twist of fate gets married to his younger brother Rajiv. When she discovers that Rajiv is a chronic alcoholic, she feels betrayed and her world is shattered.

Ranvir too is disturbed as he had sacrificed his relationship for his younger brother because Rajiv had promised him that if he gets married to Shaina, he will leave alcohol forever.

After getting married, Rajiv has broken his promises and life starts getting complicated. In a weak moment Ranvir and Shaina come very close to each other, and an affair starts between the younger brother's wife and the elder brother.

When the younger brother starts suspecting his wife - all hell breaks loose. A murder is committed, a contract killing is issued, double crossings become the order of the day, betrayals are executed at the blink of an eye.

The directors of multistarrer 'Race' boast of a racy past with slick line thrillers like Khiladi, Baazigar, Ajnabee, Humraaz and more. Though their last release Naqaab was a sloppy piece at the box office, they are back with topline action and content in 'Race'.

Though the movie critics were hesitant to give 'Race' a clean chit in the beginning, Abbas-Mustan's previous films clearly indicate that the director duo have never really disappointed their audience.

Race offers a palette of variety with a circuitous storyline, urban brand of music, breathtaking stunts and glam dolls on the track. The movie is worth every penny of yours, though the old movie hunters may say otherwise.

Recently, Abbas-Mustan have given us terrible films (Naqaab, 36 China Town) but we remember them for their classics (Baazigar, Khiladi, Ajnabee). Thankfully, Race lives up to their positive movies and this is probably one of their best films ever. Probably.

The film starts with a bang and finishes with one too. The songs are very catchy, the girls look fantastic and Saif is cool too. However, it is Akshaye Khanna who does the best job and the cameo by Johnny Lever is excellent.

Anil Kapoor and Sameera Reddy are a little OTT but with the story going in so many unforseen directions, you will be glued to your seat.

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars A fantastic film. Race certainly has many twists which keep

Race certainly has many twists which keep you going right to the end. A brilliant film with some great acting. Anil Kapoor can get a little tedious with his dialogues but its worth 3 hrs of your time.
