Nomads will enjoy this ... I have travelled Africa. I met many motorcyclists, 4x4'ers, cyclists and trans-Africa 'by any means' travellers (me). Unlike many of us, no doubt they (LWR) had a huge budget hence the support vehicles, medic on board, technology & gadgets. However, Ewan & Charley really took the back routes to immerse themselves in the real Africa. The dvd covers not just the motorcycling but cultural, emotional, physical,often frustrating aspects of their journey. Bravo!

If you read the book first you get to learn more about the adventure before you watch the dvd. Excellent documentary showing Africa to be the wonderful continent that it is and not what you see in the news.

when i bought this dvd i thought it was a 3 disc holder the 3 dvds are cramped one on top of another one and that can easily cause scratches.and is'n t going to last long. and the delievery was poor it took 5 days to deliever that is pretty slow.and another thing the price is a bit too expensive.but all together it has features like a small map in the holder in the case thats good but to round it off i would give this 7 out of 10
