They took his family, now he's out for revenge...
Dolph Lundgren stars as former Russian Special Forces agent Nick Cherenko in this well-made action flick. Abandoning his old life for a peaceful existence with his wife and child, Nick receives a rude awakening when they are killed in gang crossfire. Moving to the U.S. and beginning once again with a job as a mechanic, Nick is given the chance to extract revenge on those who killed his loved ones, and the fighter in him is re-awakened.

After Universal Soldier, this is Dolph Lundgren's best film. It has everything you could want from a Dolph flick unless you're looking for martial arts displays as that is something missing from this film. This is in keeping with the gritty, realistic undertones which have been set by Dolph, a very good director, with some of the action scenes reminding me somewhat of Children of Men. This is a balls out revenge flick with Dolph in super hard boiled mode, enjoy!
Brilliant
