One of the top 5 films of 2007 without a doubt.
Regardless of what another reviewer says, this is not a vehicle for atheists (Hows that bad?) it dosent say anything about weither God exists or not (Personal Deity Form)....
Anyway religion is only one thought or topic about this story
This is a thinking persons movie or one that has a free mind or enlightened mind..
Def worth the 13 euros. David Lee Smith and Tony Todd stand out in the acting department. Great camera work.
If i have any complaints its in the lighting department. Bit too TV bright at times.
The story is amazing and it may teach you a few things about whats behind religion. John Oldman dosent follow any religion, And exposes clearly that people dont remember humans great history and continue to follow religion, continually falling into its traps of oppression of the human spirit. and blind ignorant wars.
Poses another question about what jesus would think to see what has been done in his name, any how his teachings have been cruely warped. Basically be altruistic!!.

this film is forrest gump without the flash-backs and a vehicle for
athiests. the content is shallow and if the script had landed on
my desk it would have been returned for a complete rewrite.
a waste of money dont buy it.
A superb film nobody seems to have heard of

With no special fx and no big name stars this little-seen film has to rely on the power of it's story alone to draw you in and it does so in spades. The action barely moves from the log cabin but the film is riveting. It's probably best not to know too much about the story to not ruin the genius of it as it unfolds, but suffice to say one character has a pretty big secret and a big story to tell. A smart, thought-provoking film and an inspiration to any aspiring screenwriters of how to grab an audience without action, horror or sex, but just great writing. Highly recommended.
