Reasonably amusing 'Disney' studios, live action, comic fantasy - concerning, said title College Professor character, who invents an Anti - Gravitational (?) Rubbery type substance, which he dubs as 'Flubber' .... The fun starts when an unscupulous businessman decides that he must have the secret formula for himself and tries with amusing results, on various occasions to steal it from him .... Fred MacMurrey stars along with 'Disney', early 1960's 'teen' regular, Tommy Kirk .... This rather typical ( for then ) lightweight comedy vehicle is directed by another 'Disney' stalwart - Robert Stevenson and he makes a pretty engaging job of it .... 'It's All Good Clean Fun !! .... The effects are not at all bad for the time (1961) except, for a few 'Cheesy' - 'Rear Projection' shots, but then that's not really what it's all about, is it ?? !! ....
