Whoever wins...we lose.
It may be our planet, but it's their war! The deadliest creatures from the scariest sci-fi movies ever made face off for the first time on film beginning when the discovery of an ancient pyramid buried in Antarctica sends a team of scientists and adventurers to the frozen continent. I really enjoyed this movie.
It has quite a good storyline and very gd action scenes. A lot of fans of the series complained tht it shud be more violent, and in truth it could be, but what I really liked as a person whos not into horror is that it was more of an action movie. It very much refrained from the pointless, mindless aliens kill everything scenario, and actually put a decent amount of background and plot into the story ( without overdoing it :P)
Good for a lads night in or for a bit of decent sci-fi action, but not scary by any means. =)
alright

This film was never going to be great, i mean, have you watched any of the originals?! BUT somebody had to make this film eventually, and god am i glad they did! The action in this film is quite good, and remember i said QUITE. where the heck is the blood?! the scaryness?! there isnt anything from this movie that reminds you of the originals exept the title, the fact that it has both names in it. This film wasnt rubbish, and its well worth a watch, but i really wish they made it a 15, atleast. If it were an 18 and went on for a bit longer and added loads more action and gore, (like the second one) than i would have given this 4 stars.
