Murphy's first big screen outing, shows what a comic genies the guy is, Playing a convict let out of prison for 48 hours, to help racist Cop Nick Nolte track down a pair of cop killers. This unlikely partnership trades laughs and as often punches, as both Murphy and Nolte persue there seperate goals. Nolte wants the villans, Murphy wants his money and some sex. Just watch Murphy in the outstanding red neck country and western bar scene, He improvises many of the lines, and it's a scene that you will want to watch over again. This movie is excellent, and The music score by James ( Aliens ) Horner is also great. A must own for any Murphy fan. Brilliant !
