When his army unit was ambushed during the first Gulf War, Sergeant Raymond Shaw (Liev Schreiber) saved his fellow soldiers just as his commanding officer, Major Ben Marco (Denzel Washington), was knocked unconscious. Brokering the incident for political capital, Shaw eventually becomes a vice-presidential nominee, while Marco is haunted by dreams of what happened, or indeed didn't happen, in Iraq.
Searching for peace from his nightmares, Marco discovers that Shaw's story is beginning to unravel; whatever the truth, the sinister Manchurian Global corporation is desperate to prevent him finding it...

Very poor film for Denzil Washington. Didn't enjoy it. Personally don't buy it. Can't really say much other than I didn't like it.
Gripping

Stylish, beautifully made and plenty of plot twists in a film which will have to constantly guessing until the very end and even after. Great performances from all cast memebers especially that of Meryl Streep.
Very good

This is a very good film! A very detailed and well thought out plot! Really makes you think, gives you a load of information and gradually reveals it all throughout the film. Denziel Washington is brilliant.
