I won't bother you by explaining the story or telling you how good this film is because if you don't already know or if you haven't seen this yet where have you been ?
I will on the other hand cover the extra's that this Optimum release has on the disc.

1) Commentary by Sylvester Stallone: If you have not heard a Stallone commentary you are missing out as this one is especially good. Stallone does not miss a beat and this commentary is both informative and humorous at times.

2) Commentary by writer David Morrell: Previously only available on region 1 this is an interesting commentary as he gives his opinion on the differences between his version and the version that made it to screen along with some very nice anecdotes.

3) A look back is a short making of - worth a watch and nice to have the late Richard Crenna talking of his experiences.

The menu screens are very nicely put together while you move a knife around the extra's and set-up.

The sound and picture quality are of a very high standard for a movie mostly filmed in Canada during very dull but breathtaking locations.
Is it worth a double dip if you already own the original R2 edition ? I would say yes given the superb commentaries by Stallone and Morrell.

The back of the box INCORRECTLY states that it has a Director's commentary - which it definately does not.
