They stole his mind: now he wants it back!

In a futuristic world, construction worker Doug Quaid obsesses about taking a vacation on the planet Mars. His wife objects, so Doug instead opts to have an artificial memory of a Martian holiday implanted into his mind. The trouble is, during the implantation procedure, Quaid suffers a strange reaction. Why? It seems as though he has already been to Mars, but his memories of his journey have been wiped...

Now secret agents and the cohorts of a megalomaniacal industrialist are out to get him. Can Quaid experience total recall, and finally figure out just why everyone is trying to stop him from reaching the red planet?

 Wish I was Douglas Quaid

This futurustic action pic is a must -see film for all you action fans that also love to see Arnie stomping around playing the captains role. Schwarzenegger plays Douglas Quaid, a construction worker curious about the new mind bending trips to Mars that are available for jaded mugs. However, things soon go t8ts up at the implant centre and thats when the real action begins. Arnie sees himself involved in a whole host of blood churning, guts spilling and limb snapping sequences as he is chased around Mars by Cohagens boy Richter and his bunch of dipsh8ts for some vital information that is stored in Arnies turben wearing head. Scenes of note in this action classic include a midget blazing away on a bar, a bird with 3 dimmocks that makes you wish you had 3 hands and the grotesque woman at the airport that loves her twwwwooo week breaks! At the centre of all this mayhem is Quato who, sporting a boss muckers jacket, assists Arnie is his quest to set off the reactor and mug off Cohagen.
One of Arnies more distinguished action pics and is well worth checking out......see you at the party Richter!!

You make me wish i had three hands!

Total Recall (1990) - ****
A surprisingly intelligent look at science fiction, taken from a novel one of the genre's masters, Phillip. K. Dick (A Scanner Darkly, Bladerunner.) Outstanding effects, and impressive visuals you would expect from Paul Verhoeven. Also home of the immortal line "Screw you!". A must-see.

 great fun

Really good fun action movie. The previous review (great review by the way, made me laugh) covers it all. Buy it.

Cant wait for the new one!

A fantastic classic. A great film, story and amazing special effects. A must buy to add to your collection and a must must buy if you have never seen it.

I'm looking forward for the remake to come out next year with Collin Farrell starring as Arnie.
