Rod Steiger and James Coburn will blow you apart in "A Fistful of Dynamite" ("Duck You Sucker") by the master of adventure Sergio Leone!

On the run from the British government in Mexico, Sean Mallory (Coburn), an IRA explosives expert, is befriended by Juan Miranda (Steiger) the leader of a bandit family. Upon witnessing Mallory's skills with explosives, Juan asks Sean to join his gang to raid the bank of Mesa Verde but before long he's caught up in the Mexican revolution!

 This Will Blow You Away!!!!!!!!!!

One of my favourite films.
An operatic, humourous and cynical examination of the concepts, winners and losers in a political Revolution.
Great music to match the broad-brush approach...from the ties that bind Juan, John and Sean...to the homage to Goya in the execution scene...and the girl in the flashback sequences (does she represent the 'ideal' of Revolution that everyone has fallen in love with?). Leone at his very best and unbelievable value for £5!!
Some great ideas for your next Firework Party! Duck You Suckers!!

What starts of as a slightly comical Mexican Bandit movie soon becomes a deeper meaningful movie about a revolution. The two main stars are an Irish Dynamite Enthusiast and a Mexican Bandit. Their partnership takes them and the viewer on an unsuspected journey. Considering this was made in 1971 it has held up well. Iconic like other Western films like the Good The Bad and Ugly. Maybe a little long but it holds your concentration and works the story well. Well worth a watch.

 NOW THAT'S ENTERTAINMENT....

The beauty of restored films is that they look and sound fabulous and this is no exception.
It's an epic with wonderful locations that are photographed to full adavntage, giving great scope and adding to the story.
,direction and acting are superb making a real assault on the senses.
Oh and the music a wonderful theme but some modern stuff that does not really add to the overall continuity.
Full marks to the old school of fim making.
