Magically powerful. Supernaturally evil. The ancient entity known in human legend as the Djinn can grant a person's wildest dreams. And in the process, it unleashes your darkest nightmares. The moral of this explosively terrifying, special-effects-powered, horror-fantasy spectacular: be careful what you wish for!

I was hoping to stop at the title as it pretty much sums up this horror !! It's a BRILLIANT horror, one I had on vhs then got on dvd as soon as they got cheaper. Andrew Divoff, oh he with the peculiar surname, is first class as the main man. He needs to gather souls to make himself 'human' again but he cannot ask people outright (I'm guessing this would tend to disturb people eh) so this is where the inventiveness comes in. This is a fine example of the genre in one that's unfortunately been largely hi-jacked by the teen-pleasers of late (and let's face it, most young teens get into 18 films these days). Though the Wishmasters after 2 are trashy and very poor by comparison, this film has a lot of class. Even if you don't bother with any of the others, bother with just this one. Strongly recommend it.
Three Wishes!

Ok I understand this film is not for everyones taste, but it has some good special effects story flows nicely along, and got a very memorable cast. Ie Kane (Jason) Hodder,Robert(Freddy)Englund,Tony(Candyman)Todd and a few more familar faces. Admitterly when i first saw it I thought It could of been better. Then saw it again and thought this is really quite good!
Dont knock it till you try it!
