The Incredibles (2 Discs) (Pixar)

Me and my daughter have watched this film countless times, it has a fab story line that keeps you gripped till the end. I just wish they had made a second film! It is very funny for children and adults, if you don't own it buy it now I guarantee you won't be disappointed!!!

this film is excellent on all levels
i think the story is great, its funny, the animation is the best ive seen, its entertaining, exciting and just generally brilliant. although its about superheros i think it is very origional. and i loved the Frozone (played by Samuel l Jackson) with the ice powers

its almost as good as toy story 2! which is about as big a compliment as you can get!

The thing i love about animation is that each movie is completely different to the next. You take toy story for example, its about a kids toys that come to life whenever nobody is in the room. This is about a time when there were superheroes around the place. They were forced to go into hiding and become normal people. The star of the movie is mr incredible who wants to be back during his glory days. He is married to another superhero. He receives a chane to be a superhero again but it turns out to be a plan to kill him. His wife and his two kids have to come to the rescue. Watch out for the fashion designer character. She steals the show

The Incredibles (2004) - *****
Still a strong contender for my favourite Pixar. Incredibles is up there with Toy Story, Ratatouille and Wall-E. What's great about this film is that it was the first to really employ the slightly angular style to the characters and wasn't afraid of not being Disney-cutesy. The film is very witty, exactly what you'd expect from Brad Bird who's worked on The Simpsons. The pace of the film is really well worked out; exactly the right amount of time spent on introductions, story development, climax and epilogue. Another great feature is the depth of the superhero universe it has created. Through the intro at the start and the various backstories you collect throughout, The Incredibles shapes its own world around it with magnificent skill. Finally, the obvious. The Incredibles looks incredible; from the lavish scenery on Syndrome's island, to the burning building sequence, even the offices and cars have a just slightly exaggerated charm that completes the look of the film. Overall, a truly tremendous achievement in animation and storytelling. Magnificent.

I remember this film coming out and seeing it on DVD because i wasen't that interested except i did winge for the game which dissapointed me. Anyway, the film is awesome and the CGI is jst the best. My favourite character is freeze voiced by samuel Jackson. The incredible family themselves are really cool and when Baby Jack Jack discovers his power which is shape shifting, it's really fuuny. I dont understand the ending where the underminer comes up and i was really hoping for another film.

I would recommend this film to young and old.

I gave it 5 star because the CGI is brilliant and the story line is good and it's funny.

Definately money well spent

everything you need from this awesome disney/pixar collaberation. not as good as finding nemo or toy story but still excellent.

This is an animation film about lost heroes resuming their service again to stop evil plots being implemented.

I think the runaway success of this film is that the film's lead heroes are very everyday. The family is portrayed to be heroes who have had their glorious days but got disgraced because of a series of negative incidents. They then choose to have a family life and stay away from the limelight. They are reluctant to use their supernatural powers, and only uses them when the situation gets out of hand. This key point is radically different to most superhero movies, where the heroes have always been glorious heroes and will forever be glorious heroes. In this movie, the heroes fall and then rise back up again, creating a positive message for kids.

Apart from this fundamental difference from other superhero movies, it also has a great story. It also has cute and attractive animation. This film really deserves the attention and praise, and cannot simply be attributed to be popular because it is an animation.

There is only one word you can use to describe this dvd.....
INCREDIBLE :)
