This has to be the best Dvd deal on play.com at the present moment.
Derren Brown takes to the streets amazing people with simple but clever illusions. And also invites celebrities on the show to astound them also. Each episode is 1/2 hour long and there is 6 episodes. 3 hours for £5 is v good value and every episode has various stunts and tricks.
The other thing to admire is that Derren Brown say's there are no actors or stooges in his performances. He is 100% genuine and is one of the best entertainers of the world today.

This guy is phenominal.Forget Penn and Teller,Paul Mackena,Paul Daniels or anyone else in this field.Derren Brown makes them look like rather foolish novices.If you a fan of magic,Phsycology,hypnosis,etc you will adore this show.The most pleasing factor is Derren claims to have no phsycic/supernatural abilities,he is an ordinary human like you or me(though very talented and more pompous than most).It is satisfying that Derren can expose certain frauds,by emulating their craft.A certain Derek Achora spings to mind.

I bought this at fulll price and it was definatley worth my money so for the 4.99 which is the prive at the time of writing this review i would say that it is excellent.
The Dvd contains derren up to his usual tricks as in one of the clips he makes a taxi driver in london get lost when driving next to where they are suppose to be.
The dvd also has derren with a variety of guest stars on the episodes.
Allthough if you were picking between this series or the second one i would say get both but if you only had enough for one i would say i prefered the second series
