Honestly "Wes Craven's Shocker", was a roller-coaster ride for me, it has good share of ups, but it also had it's good share of downs as well. At first I was kind of excited to see it because after viewing at the time "Wes Craven's The People Under The Stairs", and being extremely impressed, id figure that i'd like "Shocker", as well seeing how like "The People Under The Stairs", it's one of Wes Cravens early classics.I began to watch 'Shocker", and it started off good, a little confusing but good, and then as it got more into the film, the roller coaster took off. It was like one minute I was into it, and was really entertained, and then something boring and absurd happened and it went down. Then it ended I sat there for a minute to reminisce the film. So hear is what I overall thought of it, it was entertaining at some points, and I appreciated Wes Craven's far fetched sense of horror in this film, plus it was really cool. However it did become very uninteresting at some points to where I was just staring at the screen with nothing in my head waiting for something interesting to happen. Also I feel that it was very rushed into getting into the beginning and the end. Overall "Shocker", was good it's not Wes Cravens best, but I honestly think that in the very near future "Shocker", will be getting a second viewing from me.Overall if I think you'll like it, most likely no, if your the person that's into a different taste in horror films than this. However if you're a die hard Wes Craven fan, you shouldn't miss "Wes Craven's Shocker".

A good no brainer horr/thriller from the late 80's, an one of Mr. Cravens better jobs. This movie starts off very serious but turns out funny in parts, very much recommended for some cold wet night and a few beers, the effects are dated but youcan forgive that with age. X-Files fans will be supprised to see Skinner in this an he is scary. what more do could you want than Skinner going around kicking butt with No more mr. nice guy from Megadeath in the background.

A God Awful attempt by Wes Craven to try and breathe life into a new franchise that he could control in the same way he couldnt with Freddy.A waste of his talent and theres no real acting talent involved in the making of it so just one big Waste really.
