I'll start by saying, I feel people are being a bit too sensitive when reviewing this film. No, they aren't very nice people. And no, there isn't a 'good guy' so to speak. But then life isn't a Disney fairytale.

This film illustrates the greed and vulgarity of Wall Street superbly, and as expected, Scorsese shows it in such fine detail. The whole cast were brilliant and this is probably DiCaprio's finest performance. But for me, Jonah Hill steals the show. His delivery of the character was magnificent!

Ok, this film may not be for the faint hearted. There's lots of swearing, sex, drugs and rock 'n roll. But within all of that, there's also a decent story, lots of humour and some of the finest acting you'll see in a film directed by one of the greats. A must see!

The wolf of wall street, not impressed

Contrary to my fellow reviewer I do not rate this film at all, its not a nice film about not very nice people, despite the glamorisation by Scorsese. The film illustrates selfish, greedy, indulgent individuals debauching, cheating and abusing their way to millions, not in my view entertaining. Added to that, the story itself is so thin it is barley visible through the sex, drugs and rock and roll. Having said that DC's performance is pretty good, as is the rest of the cast but I still did not enjoy this film at all, it's a cross between Gatsby and Caligula.

Martin Scorsese does it again, does the man ever make a bad movie?, The vulgarity of the film is bordering on the obscene but you have to look past that, one of the best films I've seen for a long time.
