10/10 A must see, Great female lead roles & wonderful chemistry.
D.E.B.S. (2004) is a sweet romantic action comedy starring Jordana Brewster, Sara Foster, Meagan Good, Devon Aoki, Jill Ritchie, Jessica Cauffiel and Michael Clarke Duncan.
The plots revolves around four teenage college co-eds who are recruited by the government to become secret agents known only as D.E.B.S. The plaid-skirted foursome use high tech gadgets and their own resourcefulness to battle crime.
While on a mission to defeat criminal Lucy Diamond (Brewster) the D.E.B.S. star agent and leader Amy (Foster) finds herself falling for the lesbian supervillain.
There's a lot of fun to be had with this movie. The girls look terrific and there are some real laughs. The leads Brewster and Foster generate a steamy chemistry and the rest of the cast provide terrific support.
Writer/director Angela Robinson (Herbie Fully Loaded) only had a small budget to work with and some of the action scenes do look a little cheap. This movie has a fun and goofiness appeal while also dealing with the lesbian romance in a refreshingly sweet way.
The DVD is packed with extras. A Director's Commentary, A Cast Commentary and several Documentary's. This DVD is well worth a look.
