3 Did I miss something?thebbfcfanclub | 09/03/2010 | See all thebbfcfanclub's reviews (33)Kiefer, in a horror film once again. Brilliant! Flat Liners, The Lost Boys. Not to mention the combination with director Alexandre Aja whose other stuff is fab. This should be great. It's not.I can see why this has had good reviews it's well made, well acted, all that sort of thing. It certainly is a cut above some of the recent horror dross but it has all the hallmarks of an asian horror Hollywood remake where the real feel for terror has been lost in translation. It's just not scary and dragged on after a while. Towards the end it got a bit downright silly.Perhaps worth a watch but I wouldn't recommend it. Maybe I just don't find mirrors scary, clearly some people do. If you do, it's probably a great film.Who's that in the mirror. Oh, it's me. Oh no, I'm killing myself aghh help.
