All fourteen episodes from South Park's eighth season are now available for the first time in this 3-disc collector's set.

Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman find themselves in the middle of hot-button political issues and celebrity shenanigans. Season eight is capped off with a very special Christmas episode done in the way only South Park does Christmas!

2004 was a busy year for Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the geniuses behind South Park, in 1 year they went through pre-production all the way to post production and release of their classic thunderbirds style send up of Bruckhiemer/Bay type films - Team America - and they managed to produce Season 8 of South Park. Now, South park has been getting better with each season as Trey and Matt really start to understand what they can do with the show and in my opinion despite being on Season 12, Season 8 is so far the absolute pinnacle, the very best series of South Park. Each episode is at least a 4 out of 5 and at least 7 of the 14 episodes are 5 out of 5 television!!
The Season starts with "Good Times With Weapons" in which the boys trick their way into buy authentic ninja weapons and we get to see the boys in anime style, but things go too far and Butters winds up with a ninja star in his eye. Then Jimmy experiments with steroids as Cartman tries to pass himself off as retarded so he can win the special olympics. Next we have the infamous "Passion of the Jew" episode in which Cartman is inspired by Passion Of The Christ to exterminate all the jews. Next the boys get served by some O.C. kids and soon 'It's on!!' and then Cartman dresses up like Awesem-o to try and trick Butters but for once Butters has the upper hand. We move onto another infamous episode "The Jeffersons" in which a familiar face moves to South Park with his son and we find out what the police do to rich black folk. Next is one of my all time favourite episodes "Goobacks" an alagory about immigration in which people come back from the future to get work and the present day folk all loose their jobs. South Park is put under the spell of the powerful and evil Wall-Mart, we learn that we all better get used to voting between a douche and a turd because that's usually the only choice we're ever going to have. In another classic episode Trey and Matt rip on Paris Hilton in a big fat way and may I just say 'YAY, Mr Slave!'. Also in a wonderful episode of self-parody the boys have to come up with new ideas for a television show they're doing and decide the best way to do that is to trip out on cough medicine. Cartman gains "psychic powers" when he falls off the roof of his house and the police need his "gift" to catch a serial killer and in the very last episode of the series Christmas is given the South Park treatment again and you'll never be able to get the words 'Woodland Critter Christmas' or 'Hail Satan' out of you head again.
Once again Trey and Matt do their bitesize mini funsize 5-6 minute commentaries on each episode and this seasons is particularly interesting because Trey and Matt go into the story of their self-dubbed "year from hell" in which they made Team America and this series back to back. Season 8 may not have been as headline grabbing as the next 2 seasons but in my opinion although Seasons 9, 10, 11 and the first half of 12 have been good Season 8 may be the closest South Park ever comes to a perfect Season.

Who doesnt like south park? Its just too funny not to laugh. Even the bad episodes you still giggle at and when you see a excellent episode (most are) theyre the funniest cartoons around. If you havent seen a south park you need to. Youll never look at other cartoon s in the same way.

 Another epic season

This is the second best season of south park after season 7. This season contains the episode with the japanese weapons, the one with paris hilton and mr slave and the very brilliant Michael jefferson(Michael jackson) episode. Really epic
